In 2003, Rhea created two series of pastel drawings stimulated by the basic shapes seen in child art: Out of Simplicity (108 drawings) and Toward Complexity (36 larger drawings).
The basic shapes that have evolved in nature occur in child art, stimulated by the organic memory of the infant, also of pre-natal memory. They evolve into the endless and most beautiful forms in human culture.
